MORE NEW PURCHASES ADDED
Dear Visitor,
We have just added another twenty or so new coins. Most are some bust halves but also a few gold coins, an 1838-O half dime and a 1864-S quarter. Check them out. As is our custom for the new year, we reviewed all remaining inventory and marked down anything that's been around too long. We added around 50 coins to the clearance section, so if you had been thinking about an item but did not quite pull the trigger, check there. Your patience may have paid off.
Thanks, Dave
Effective immediately, we no longer take charge cards. However, we do accept Paypal though not on every item. Call for details. If you need a layaway, call and we will see if we can come to an agreement on terms. If you do not have a paypal account, it is easy to set up and you can use your credit card in conjunction. Safer for you and no cost to you either. Since we no longer take cards, we can offer lower commission rates on consignments. So, effective now, the new rates are 12% for 200.-994., 10% for 995-4999., 8% for anything 5000. and up. We can sell your coins for prices as high or higher than major auctions but do it faster and for smaller commissions. Thanks, Dave
CONSIGNMENTS
With the market becoming uncertain, now may a good time to try and sell those items you have been thinking about. We have sold millions of dollars worth of coins for our customers in the past. In fact, we had way over a million dollars worth of coins on consignment in October alone. If you are looking a firm you can trust, we have been in business 34 years, never a bad check written nor any bankruptcies. Few of our competitors, even much larger dealers can make this statement. Rates are as low as 8% for coins over 5K. You don't have to sell anything at a price you are not willing and can get your coins back at any time. Truly a no risk way to get top dollar for your coins! Contact me for further details or check the link at left.
A NOTE ABOUT IMAGES--PLEASE READ:
One of the most tedious and sometimes frustrating jobs I do is imaging coins. Some come out great, others are simply not photogenic and frustrating. Here are some tips on interpreting images. First, they are often darker than reality. Coins that are essentially white will actually look somewhat toned in an image. Second, any variation in depth of color is often greatly exagerated. Spots invariably show bigger and darker in images than in person. Please read the descriptions for additional info and remember you always have a return privilege (unlike auctions). Thanks, Dave
WE WILL TAKE THOSE BULLION RELATED GOLD COINS YOU MAY WISH TO SELL IN TRADE. PERHAPS IT'S TIME TO TAKE SOME PROFITS AND MOVE TO MORE BLUE CHIP TYPE COINS.
